Research Profile - Dr. Yuri Breitbart
Dr. Breitbart received DSc degree from the Israel Technological Institute-Technion-Haifa in 1973. From 1975 till 1981 he has worked at SUNY at Albany, Albany NY, and University of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. From 1981 to 1986 Dr. Breitbart worked at ITT and then at Amoco Research Center where he was a Manager of Database research group.From 1986 till 1992 he was a Professor and Chair of the Department of Computer Science at University of Kentucky. He was visiting Professor at ETH-Swiss Technological University from 1993 till 1994. In 1996 Dr. Breitbart joined Bell Laboratories at Murray Hill, NJ where in 2001 he become a Distingiushed Member of Technical Staff. He joined Kent State University in 2002 as Distinguished Professor of Computer Science. Dr. Breitbart is an ACM Fellow and a member of SIGMOD and IEEE Computer Society. Home Page
