Computer Science Poster Conference and Awards Ceremony 2007

Second Annual Poster Conference, Open House, and Awards Ceremony

In association with Kent State University's Honor Week Celebration, the KSU CS Department will hold its second annual Poster Conference, Open House, and Awards Ceremony from 1-5pm on Friday afternoon 13 April 2007, in the Math & CS Library (third floor, Mathematics and Computer Science Building).

The event will begin at 1pm, with a small reception as the participants arrive.

At 2:00pm, the event will officially open with remarks by CS Department Chair Robert Walker, Arts and Sciences Dean Jerry Feezel, and Poster Conference Organizing Committee Chair L. Gwenn Volkert.

As the awards ceremony concludes at approximately 3:00pm, visitors will disperse throughout the building to view the posters and visit open labs. A schedule of poster viewing times for each area of the building will be provided to all attendees. The posters will spotlight faculty and graduate student research, undergraduate projects and classes, and departmental student organizations.

Prizes will also be awarded for the first and second place posters by graduate students, and for the first and second place posters by undergraduate students / classes / clubs.
