HM the King Press Office has been authorized to release the following message:

Their Majesties King Mihai and Queen Ana will arrive in Bucharest, at Otopeni Airport with a Swissair flight, Friday May 18, at 3.20 PM. HRH Princess Margareta and Prince Radu will arrive the same day at 2.20 PM, with KLM flight.

For the month of May, the Royal Family will have the following public schedule:

Friday May 18, around 4 PM: The King and the Royal Family will arrive at "Elisabeta" Palace. The press will have access at the entrance and will be allowed to take pictures for 15 minutes, in the park and inside the palace (in the room in which the King was forced to sign the abdication on december 30th, 1947). HM the King's Press Office will lead the journalists to the designated places.

Saturday May 19, from 10 AM to 12 PM: The Royal Family will attend the 75th anniversary of "Iulia Hasdeu" High School from Bucharest. The King will present a short speech.

Monday May 21, from 11 AM to 12 PM: Meeting with members of the Foreign Investors Association. The King will present a speech. The place of this meeting will be announced at a later time.

Monday May 21, from 5 PM to 6 PM: The Royal Family will participate at the opening of the new Typography of the journal "Romania Libera". The king will present a short speech.

Tuesday May 22, from 10 AM to 11.30 AM: The Royal Family will visit the Romanian Art Gallery from the Royal Palace. From 11.30 AM to 12.30 PM the Royal Family will remain in the Palace. The press will not have access.

Wednesday May 23 The Royal Family will participate at the opening of the International Book Fair from Artexpo (National Theatre Bucharest). The book "Ana of Romania - A War, An Exile, A life" will be launched the same place, from 12 PM to 2 PM.

Thursday May 24, from 10 AM to 11.30 AM: The Royal Family will visit the Municipal Hospital Bucharest.

Monday May 28, from 10 AM to 11.30 AM: Visit at "Electroaparataj" Factory Bucharest.

Monday May 28, from 3.30 PM to 4.30 PM: Queen Ana and Princes Margareta will visit the Retirement Community Club from Popa Petre Street, a project sponsored by "Princess Margareta of Romanian" Foundation.

Tuesday May 29, from 11 AM to 12.30 PM: short walk through the old Bucharest: "Curtea Sticlarilor"("Glass Blowers Yard") and "Hanul cu Tei" ("Linden Inn"). Visit to the Exhibition dedicated to the Royal Family, hosted by the Romanian History Museum, Bucharest.

Thursday May 31, from 10.30 AM to 12 PM: The Royal Family will visit the Agronomic Institute from Bucharest.

The schedule for June is not finalised yet and will be announced at a later time.

Sunday June 3, morning: The Royal Family will attend the inauguration of the new Church from Savarsin, Arad county.

During this visit, His Majesty will not give any interviews. The Press will be allowed to record all the speeches that His Majesty will present.
