Introduction:
Network based application is emerging as a new and challenging research
area as more and more complex and ubiquitous applications are becoming
available on Internet. The very scale, unpredictability, scale, endpoint-automony,
and diversity of the underlying Internet technology makes such applications
quite distinct from the traditional topics of stand alone systems or even
parallel and distributed systems and applications. These survey papers
will provide a comprehensive study on the emerging applications, their
classifications, recent developments and will idendify the principal research
challenges for each fields.
