Typical Plan of Study for Undergraduate CS Majors

The following is a suggested plan of study for freshmen entering the Computer Science program at Kent State University. Please note that this plan of study is intended to be used in conjunction with the undergraduate catalog and in consultation with your major academic advisor.

This plan is effective Fall 1998.

Freshman Year

Make sure that you officially declare your major.

Students who are not ready for MATH 12002 Calculus I should take MATH 12001 Algebra & Trigonometry first.

During the transition period (1998/1999 School Year) CS 10061 can be taken instead of CS 10051.

Sophmore Year
