The combined cost of a shirt and tie is $26.00. The shirt
costs $8.00 less than the tie. How much does each cost?
This problem uses the factor and term form of the relational formula. The cost calculation has a less than term. This results in a subtraction when calculating the cost in the program (in place of addition).
