It is recommened that first time visitors who are interested in problem solving follow the "gold" path. Repeat visitors and those interested in Anglish programming are encouraged to follow their interests. The initial problem solving path pages describe the Chart Method. These pages have, in addition to the topic links scattered in the text, links to the "next topic" in the upper right corner. There is also a link to the index page. Later pages may have more complex link maps in the upper right corner.

The index page is a list of links to the most important pages. It allows you to access pages out of the "normal sequence." This is very useful for repeat visitors to this site, but may be somewhat confusing for first timers. Some of the pages that the index page links to that are not in the "normal sequence" are:
The "problem list by type" is a list of all the different story problems solved at this site organized by type. The user can use these links to find an example of a specific type of story problem.
The "formula list" page shows all of the formulas used in this site for solving story problems. The user can use this list to identify the formulas needed to solve a given problem.

The Anglish pages are augmented with three links.
One is a link to Anglish Background.
The second is a link to Anglish Introduction.
The third is a link to Anglish Features. This link is for the more technical person who wants to compare the features of Anglish programming to more traditional languages.

If a pages does not have any topic links, you can use the Back button on your browser to return to the previous page.
