Attendance and Policies

The student is responsible for obtaining missed notes, assignments, and completing the lab exercises. Late assignments will not be accepted without a valid excuse. In the event that a student misses a test or assignment, a zero may be assigned for the test / assignment score. A make-up exam may be allowed only in the case of an excused absence or a documented valid emergency.

If a student will be unable to attend a class, please let the instructor know in advance. I reserve the right to give “pop quizzes” without prior notice that will count toward your course grade under Homework.

Cheating will not be tolerated. Any work that you do for this class is to be your own. A student who knowingly assists another student in cheating is considered as guilty as the one receiving the help. Any violation means that the work will not be accepted and further action may be taken.

Please turn off all cell phones, pagers, or similar devices before coming to class.
