Formatting and Submission

Manuscripts must be submitted as PDF files prepared for US Letter size paper. Submissions in any other format will be discarded. The maximum number of pages is eight (8), in IEEE double-column conference format, with a maximum file size of 4MB. Up to four additional pages will be permitted for a charge of $100 per additional page. Illustrations and references are included in the page count. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission is in valid format and that it will be readable and printable. Please double check your file before submitting it.

Detailed instructions for preparing IEEE conference manuscripts are provided in the following PDF file: samplems.pdf

Manuscript submission for review is now closed:

If you are the author of an accepted paper please follow the directions included in your acceptance email for submitting your final camera-ready manuscript.

Authors of accepted papers are required to ensure that their final camera-ready paper adhears to the mandatory IEEE Xplore PDF compatibility requirements of all IEEE conference papers. The following instructions are provided to help you in meeting these compatibility requirments:

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to make sure your paper is compatible. A conversion function is available to create PDF compatible documents. CIBCB'07 has been registered for this free service. Detailed instructions are available in the IEEE PDF eXpress instructions file to learn how to register and use this important free service.

The new IEEE Xplore Requirements for PDF will be enforced as of 2005. All conference articles submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore must adhere to the IEEE Xplore PDF specification for compatibility.

IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to IEEE conferences, allowing their authors to make IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs (Conversion function) or to check PDFs that authors have made themselves for IEEE Xplore compatibility (PDF Check function). Steps for submission:

  1. Create your manuscript(s)
  2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript (it is highly recommended that you do this BEFORE going to IEEE PDF eXpress.)
  3. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account - download IEEE PDF eXpress instructions file.
  4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking
  5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to attain IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s). The site contains extensive instructions, resources, helpful hints, and access to technical support.
  6. Submit final, IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s) at the cibcb07 submission page: http://ieee-cis.org/conferences/cibcb2007/upload.php

All IEEE publications are indexed in IEEE Xplore and are searchable by Inspec. This includes conferences such as IEEE CIBCB. If you are interested in finding papers from previous years's CIBCB conferences please visit here
