Final Exam -- Presentation Project

Important Notes: We don't have the final exam in the last week. Your presentation will be graded as the final exam. I do NOT accept the late submission of the presentation. So if you fail to present your topic, your final exam will be ZERO. No exception!

Requirements

Email me your topic and the preferred presentation date.
Topics -- should be related to your major AND to the computer
Time: you will have about 10 minutes presentation time. So you need to prepare about 15 - 20 slides.
You need to submit a report
- no less than 2 pages (1.5 lines, 10-12 fonts)
- you can shortly describe why you choose this topic, how you finish the presentation, and the content of the presentation. And also you can mention some future work in this field
- it will be due at the date you present your topic. You can handle in a hard copy or upload to your website and email me the link.
No late presentations! You can turn in your report late if you can not finish it before the due day.
Please upload your presentation to your personal website and email me the link. Check Lab 1 if you do not know how to do it

Grades:

60% -- Each student should submit a report.
40% -- Your classmates will grade the presentation based on your performance on:
- Organization -- How you organize your presentation (contents)?
- Onsite presentation -- The slides are well prepared? Do you clearly present the topic?
- Effects -- Can others understand?

Extra Credit

You can “research” the features like “Animations” and “Sounds” to be included in your presentation. Two weeks is a sufficient time to learn and include these features. Hint: Go to the slide where animation is needed and choose “Animation” from “Slide Show”. Select the text, image or picture on the slide and select “Custom Animation”. You may choose different options in the “Slide Show” menu.

Extra credit would count for 2% - 5%. Especially if you want a higher than available grade, it is recommended to work on it.
