Advanced Multicore Computing Projects

In the case of the project subjects indicated below, read the indicated paper as a starting point.
Also read at least one other paper referenced in that paper, and search for more recent or
approximately contemporary papers on the topic. Prepare a 25-35 minute presentation on the topic and
also write a 4 to 6 page paper summarizing the material.
- Select an individual project from the list below. Only one student may choose each topic, so choose early.
- Also pick a Tuesday or Thursday date to present your talk, starting with Thursday November 19 and ending with
Tuesday December 15, excluding Thursday November 25, which is Thanksgiving. Dates will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
- All students are expected to attend all presentations and participate actively in them and will be required to write a brief overview at the end.
