Abstract

Performance and Availability, can we have them both?

Dr Box Leangsuksun will present his current research and development work towards non-stop services in High Performance Computing Environment. His work specifically focuses on addressing practical problems in a COTS-based HPC environment. The talk will focus on design, analysis and infrastructure research on High Availability and Performance computing together. He will also present a finding from the design analysis results. The result has suggested that a significant HA improvement can be achieved even before building such an architecture and its infrastructure tool sets. He plans to demonstrate a production-quality HA-OSCAR, High Availability Open Source Cluster Application Resource (http://cenit.latech.edu/oscar).
