Creating a Topic Module (TM)

Here is the description by line number:

• Line (1) is the root TM directory.
  
  
• Line (2) is the main page that will allow users to navigate the Lesson Pages (TLPs). A description of the TM, or information about its usage should be placed in this file.. A template of this file can be found by follwing this link.
  
  
• Line (3) is the TM configuration file that MUST BE SUPPLIED with each TM. An example of this file can be found by following this link
  
  
• Line (4) is the top level image directory of the TM. Graphics that are used throughout the TM are placed here.
  
  
• Line (5) is the top level style sheets directory of the TM. CSS files that contain global style definitions are placed here.
  
  
• Line (6) is the top level scripts directory of the TM (normally used for containing JavaScript files, but the type of script is insignificant). Scripts that are used to support manipulatives throughout the entire TM can be placed here.
  
  
• Line (7-9) are TLP directories. More on the TLP structure.
  
  

After the above structure has been created, zip up into an archive, and the TM is ready for distribution.
