These browsers have support for MathML display if you install the fonts needed.

Windows and Mac users please follow these instructions.

  1. Download two sets of fonts:

    Type1 TeX fonts
    Mathematica 4.1 fonts in PCF

and unpack into /usr/local/mathfonts/ for example. You'll get these subdirectories:

       PCF/ cmpsfont/

  2. Make sure /usr/local/mathfonts/ and all subdirectories are readable and executable by all; and all files under it are readable by all.

  3. Go into each of these two directories cmpsfont/pfb/ and PCF/, perform these commands:

    type1inst
    chkfontpath --add `pwd`

If you don't have type1inst on your Linux, you can download this utility writtn in Perl.

  4. Restart your Linux and test NN using this test page.
