The course is divided into twelve units; two for the first week, then we will sometimes cover one unit, sometimes two each folowing week.
During office hours, you will also be able to contact me through Wimba; go to course site, course content, click on the last icon (after all the available units) and then click on ``Enter this room''. You will be able to use your mike to talk to me, use your speakers to listen to me and I will have a camera though which you will be able to see me (if you don't see me in the camera, I may have stepped out for a minute...)
For people using MACs and Linux Computers, you already have Python running in your computer! Python is so useful that many people have incorporated it into the operating system. You may even have Idle (just open a console box and type ``idle'' (without the quotations) and see what happens. In the worst case, you might want to download the whole thing also. Note that the version of Python available on your system might not be the latest.
