Effective and Efficient Itemset Pattern Summarization: Regression-based

One major problem in frequent pattern mining is the huge number of
patterns being produced. Many summarization methods have been proposed
but generally they don't provide a good representation of the frequent
patterns in term of the ratio of compression, coverage and frequency
inference (restoration). We implemented different summarization
approaches based on the linear regression model to optimize frequency
estimation.
