2Face: A Performance Evaluation

We provide an experimental evaluation of 2Face. 2Face is the first
face routing algorithm that concurrently explores multiple faces and
explores each face in both directions simultaneously. Through
simulation, we find that 2Face reduces path stretch, resulting in
shorter routes compared to other prominent face routing algorithms.
We obtain similar results when we employ 2Face as a recovery strategy
for the local minimum problem of greedy routing.
