Software Metrics: Software Evolution

My research topic is in the field of software measurements. My ongoing
research with Dr. Melton is about software specifications and their
vital role in lifecycle of software. We contradict the term "Software
Decay" and look forward to replace it with "Software Evolution". We
are studying various software measurement techniques to come up with
some kind of unit which will be used to prove the evolution of
software.
